Privacy policy

Effective and last updated: September 10, 2026

This policy explains how TruckER collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when you visit the website, join a founding network, create an account, verify a driver, business, or motor carrier, or use TruckER delivery-matching features.

TruckER is in pre-launch. Some providers and features described below are used only if and when they are activated. Separate disclosures and consent will appear before an identity, driving-record, payment, or other regulated verification begins.

1. Information we collect

  • Account and contact information, such as name, email, phone number, login method, account type, communication preference, and consent records.
  • Driver profile information, such as location, service radius, availability, CDL class and state, license number and dates, endorsements, experience, classification, equipment, insurance, and transportation preferences.
  • Verification information, including government identity and CDL images, identity verification results, motor-vehicle-record information, authority or insurance evidence, and reviewer decisions. If a third-party identity provider is activated, that provider—not TruckER—should collect selfie or biometric matching data.
  • Business information, including legal name, operating details, authority, insurance, locations, team memberships, invitations, and role permissions.
  • Motor-carrier information, including legal and display names, USDOT and MC numbers, authority and safety status, headquarters and service states, insurance, fleet and equipment, vehicle identifiers and inspection dates, company-driver roster, carrier-team roles, verification decisions, and electronic agreement-acceptance records.
  • Marketplace and delivery information, including postings, requests, eligibility results, assignment status, route and appointment details, messages, proof of delivery, disputes, fees, and audit history.
  • Technical information, such as IP address, browser or device type, app version, authentication events, security logs, cookies or local storage, and diagnostic data.
  • Approximate or user-entered location used for matching. TruckER does not run continuous background location tracking unless a later feature clearly asks for separate permission.

2. Why we use information

  • Create and secure accounts, route users to the correct driver, motor-carrier, or business tools, and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Review identity, CDL, qualifications, authority, insurance, and account eligibility.
  • Show qualified delivery opportunities, enforce server-side matching rules, and support requests, selection, tracking, proof of delivery, fees, and disputes.
  • Contact founding drivers and businesses about regional readiness, onboarding, interviews, launch notices, and service updates.
  • Operate, debug, improve, and protect TruckER; comply with legal obligations; and enforce agreements.

3. How information is shared

TruckER does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may share only what is reasonably necessary with the business, driver, or motor carrier involved in a request or delivery, with authorized members of the same business or carrier account, and with service providers that operate the platform.

Service providers may include Lovable Cloud and its database, authentication, and storage infrastructure; Google when you choose Google sign-in; email, SMS, support, analytics, and payment providers; and verification providers such as Stripe Identity or Checkr if they are activated. Providers process information under their own terms and our contracts with them.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the public, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or as part of a merger, financing, or sale with appropriate protections.

4. Founding-network communications and SMS

Founding-network information is used to evaluate regional supply, follow up about onboarding, and send launch-readiness notices. Joining does not guarantee work, revenue, a launch date, or access to deliveries.

If you select text messages, TruckER will ask for separate SMS consent. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of creating an account. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out when automated messaging is activated. SMS-consent information is not sold or shared for another company's marketing.

5. Identity, CDL, MVR, and document verification

Full driver onboarding may require private CDL images and supporting records. Do not upload Social Security cards, bank credentials, or unrelated medical records. If a medical examiner certificate is requested, TruckER should collect only the certification information needed for eligibility—not diagnoses or treatment history.

Automated government-ID, selfie, or motor-vehicle-record checks are not active merely because an upload page exists. Before a third-party check begins, TruckER will identify the provider, purpose, information used, applicable charge, and required consent. Regulated reports may also require separate disclosures, authorization, dispute rights, and pre-adverse or adverse-action procedures.

6. Storage, retention, and security

Driver and motor-carrier verification documents are stored in separate, access-controlled private storage and are not made public to marketplace users. TruckER uses role-based access, row-level data controls, authentication, logging, and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system can promise absolute security.

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, account and delivery operations, fraud prevention, disputes, legal or tax obligations, and enforcement. Retention length depends on the record type and applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, or securely isolate it.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

You may update profile information in your account, change communication preferences, withdraw optional consent prospectively, and request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, subject to identity verification and legal exceptions. You may also ask about a decision based on verification information or dispute an inaccurate regulated report with the provider and TruckER.

To make a privacy request, sign in and use the account or support controls when available, or reply to a TruckER onboarding email or text and clearly write “Privacy Request.” We may request information needed to confirm the requester is the account holder. Authorized agents may be required to provide written authority.

8. Cookies and local storage

TruckER uses browser storage and similar technologies for login sessions, selected account role, security, preferences, and basic performance. Browser controls can restrict these technologies, but disabling required storage may prevent sign-in or app features from working.

9. Children, geography, and changes

TruckER is intended for adults and commercial transportation users and is not directed to children under 18. The current service is intended for the United States.

We may update this policy as the product, vendors, or law changes. Material changes will be dated here and, when appropriate, presented in the app for renewed notice or consent. A new policy does not retroactively authorize a materially different use of information when law requires additional consent.

10. Contact

TruckER's privacy function is operated from Washington State, United States. For customer support or a privacy request, email msrein@icloud.com or call (360) 763-8789. Before the public marketplace begins charging fees, TruckER will add its final legal entity name and mailing address here.
