How motor-carrier accounts work on TruckER

One company account per USDOT number

A motor carrier has a single company account tied to its USDOT number. The company can invite authorized owners, managers, dispatchers, billing users, viewers, and company drivers, but every person must use their own secure login. Shared credentials are prohibited.

Separate Carrier Reliability Score

Your trucking company earns its own Carrier Reliability Score, separate from each individual driver's reliability score. The company score is never a driver's score and is not an average or copy of driver scores. During pre-launch it shows Not yet rated until the carrier completes qualifying deliveries.

Carrier responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the carrier is the transportation-service provider and remains solely responsible for its drivers and personnel, dispatch, authority, insurance, equipment, vehicles, safety, regulatory compliance, cargo, load acceptance, transportation performance, claims, taxes, compensation, and payment collection.

Normal load-board workflow

Carriers follow the familiar load-board process: review the posted opportunity and terms, request or accept through the company account when enabled, independently evaluate the load, assign an eligible company driver and vehicle, perform the transportation services, update delivery status, and provide proof of delivery. TruckER supplies matching and tracking technology and does not become the carrier, employer, dispatcher, broker, insurer, or party providing transportation.
